With the purpose of giving the Highlands Historic District a portal to the community, this site was developed to ensure that everyone would have access to the many histories, pictures, and fascinating pieces of information on the Highlands. This site also contains an up-to-date calendar of events that allows the public to be aware of upcoming activities in the community (Event Calendar link at the top of this page).
We encourage you to visit this site often, as the content will be updated as new events happen (future picnics, the biennial holiday tours, as well as many other events).
The Highlands Historic District web site itself was mainly developed by Vince Geraci (with major design and functionality advice from his wife, Sandi). Vince is a Lead Application Developer employed by PNC Bank.
The content of the site is from countless hours of volunteer time by the various members of the Highlands Historic District.
